PTP Process Lead with French

We are currently looking for highly motivated and talented professionals to join our team in the position of Process Lead
The Process Lead PTP is responsible for overseeing the full Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process within the country or region, ensuring that all procurement, invoicing, and payment transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies. This role includes managing the day-to-day PTP activities, supporting the PTP team, and ensuring that the PTP processes align with both local requirements and global best practices. The Process Lead PTP is also responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement and driving efficiency initiatives within the PTP team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Oversee the full PTP process, including purchase order management, invoice processing, and supplier payments, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner
•Supervise daily PTP operations to ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, with a focus on minimizing errors and improving processing speed
•Act as the first point of contact for resolving any operational queries and providing guidance to junior team members.
•Monitor and manage payment processes to ensure timely payments to suppliers and optimize cash flow.
•Collaborate with internal departments, such as Procurement, Finance, and IT, to ensure smooth and efficient end-to-end PTP processes.
•Work closely with external suppliers to resolve payment-related inquiries, disputes, and any issues affecting payment processing.
•Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed regarding payment statuses, discrepancies, and process improvements.
•Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for PTP processes, generating regular reports on performance, operational efficiency, and supplier payment compliance.
•Ensure strict adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and tax laws, particularly in relation to procurement and supplier payments, and assist with audit preparations.
•Support the timely completion of period-end closing activities, ensuring that all PTP transactions are reconciled and accounted for correctly in financial reports.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements within the PTP function to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and increase overall process efficiency.
•Lead the implementation of best practices and standardization efforts across the PTP process to ensure consistency and quality in all activities.
•Take an active role in the training and development of junior team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
•Lead or participate in projects related to automation, system upgrades, and process reengineering within the PTP function.
•Provide leadership and direction to the PTP team, including junior accountants, ensuring they meet individual and team targets while adhering to established processes and standards.
•Promote a collaborative and supportive team environment where all team members contribute to process improvements and share knowledge.
•Actively mentor and guide junior team members in developing their skills and achieving their professional goals.
•Take ownership of maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the PTP function to ensure they reflect the latest process improvements and regulatory requirements.
•Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance PTP processes, including reporting automation, vendor management, and compliance with global standards.
•Collaborate with other departments, including Record-to-Report (R2R) and Accounts Payable (AP), to ensure alignment on financial reporting and end-to-end process integration.
Key skills, qualifications and experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
•5+ years of experience in a PTP or Accounts Payable role, ideally within a Shared Service Center (SSC) or corporate finance environment.
•Proven experience managing end-to-end PTP processes, including purchase order management, invoice processing, and supplier payments.
•Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements for PTP functions.
•Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
•Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay process, with hands-on experience in all stages from requisition to payment.
•Expertise in ERP systems and Excel, with the ability to generate reports, analyze data, and identify areas for process improvement.
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
•Proactive, results-oriented approach to managing PTP processes and leading the team toward achieving objectives.
•French and English: Expert level required
