About the role

The New Hire Experience Director is responsible for providing a best in class Onboarding Program for all new Adecco Workforce Solutions hires as we continue to raise the bar on how we grow our talent. This role will be responsible for the creation and execution of various training programs, focused on recruiting roles and other organizational needs. The role incumbent will lead a team and partner with hiring managers and function owners to ensure our new hires experience a smooth process upon joining the organization and that they are set up for success.  Our goal is to engage and retain our new hires who will grow their careers with Adecco and delight our associates and clients.  This role will design, develop and implement solutions, training and action plans to improve the new hire experience and positively impact organization performance.

What you’ll be doing

Recruiting New Hire Training Program Development

  • Gathers and analyzes performance information and qualitative data to assess needs and identify gaps in training and development for recruitment roles
  • Builds and leads project teams to meet business needs in program development and augmentation
  • Pilots launches and assesses effectiveness of new programs and initiatives

Classroom Facilitation [Virtual and Live]

  • Responsible for quality of facilitation in all in-person and virtual training events,
  • Facilitates directly or oversees facilitation by training team members, subject matter experts or external resources, providing feedback and managing adjustments where necessary
  • Establishes and maintains a positive climate for learning through appropriate researched‐based classroom management strategies
  • Assesses training effectiveness using a blend of methodology
  • Evolves and updates facilitation practices as needed and works with internal resources for content updates
  • Works with IT and Office Services teams to ensure that venues and technology needs are met for facilitation

Onboarding

  • Oversees all communication and planning related to onboarding for new hires
  • Oversees facilitation of Day One Onboarding Experience
  • Engages hiring managers on expectations for Onboarding Experience, the role of the hiring manager and tools for onboarding success
  • Engage with IT to ensure required materials are received to support a positive Day One Onboarding Experience
About you
  • Bachelor’s degree and 7-10+ years of relevant work experience (staffing industry preferred)
  • 5+ years experience working with a multi-unit, service company. (staffing, restaurant or retail preferred)
  • 5+ years’ experience in development and delivering training curriculum
  • 3+ years’ experience at the Manager or Director level developing and applying strategy and process, as well as managing staff, resources, projects, and change management. Ability to influence leaders across various functions.
  • Experience translating business needs into relevant training curriculum
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills interacting with all levels of the organization. Ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications, as well as prepare and present information utilizing PowerPoint and data visualization tools.
  • Time management, project management, and problem-solving skills. Strong team leadership skills.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and report appropriate and meaningful performance metrics.
  • Proven competence in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated team building and networking skills.
  • Ability to lead implementation and adoption of strategy and process improvement.
  • 30% travel required

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $84,938.40  and $106,173 . Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.  

Benefit offerings for full-time employment may include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans and reimbursement and retirement programs.  Available paid leave may include paid time off, parental leave and holiday pay.

The Company may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination at time of hire based on client policies or certain regulatory requirements.  As such, TAG may require you to report your COVID-19 vaccination status at time of hire unless prohibited by a state law.   The Company will consider requests for exemption based on medical/disability or religious reasons, or additional reasons if permitted by state law.
