Flexible, Europe based
- Be the IT leader accountable for delivering the IT Strategy to our Global Businesses for Professional staffing and in particular our Permanent Placement global businesses,
- Build and manage strategic relationships between IT and the senior business global leaders for our professional businesses and more particularly our Perm business,
- Provide advice, consultancy, guidance and knowledge on what are the more appropriate IT answers to their respective scopes,
- Determine IT solutions according to IT standards. Ensure IT Solutions to support business processes are harmonized.
- Drive IT Global Roll Out plan in coordination with Global IT and IT Regional teams.
- Act as a single point of contact for the global business stakeholders on all IT related needs
- Be responsible for capturing and the key business requirements.
- Organize requirements inclusion in the relevant IT products / road maps and in coordination with regional teams
- Liaise with IT Solution Delivery teams and IT Architecture to determine the relevant IT solutions to support business requirements
- Act as a representative of the global IT in local / regional / global requirements meetings on the areas where the Global Business needs to influence and translate into IT requirements / language
- Ensure, when appropriate, the implementation of the defined, global KPIs for the ROI measurement of the solutions
- Provide IT consultancy where needed or find the related resources to do so
- Help the Global business understand the technology landscape / stack on a particular Region / Country
- Help the business articulate / capture the value of the Global IT initiatives and identify opportunities
- Support the creation of the Business Cases for the IT related initiatives
- Support the business to comply with the other IT processes
- Authority to give the Go / No Go decision on projects, liaising with regional IT and consistently with the IT Governance
- Recommend and suggest changes in Business Processes
- Hold Regular status meetings – one view of all IT initiatives related to the Client Experience transformation program
- Help the business navigate the complexity of the IT organization
- University degree preferably in a business or technical subject or any comparable education
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Management position of comparable complexity in large and international organizations,
- 3 years’ experience in the staffing industry with a proven understanding of the staffing industry, its opportunities and challenges.
- Ability to explain complex, technical matters in a simple ‘language’
- Delivering to, and successful management of, stakeholder expectations whilst working in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines, budgets and resources
- Recognized achievement in delivering to a strategic agenda
- Ability to build pro-active, co-operative working relationships with customers, peers and key stakeholders based on respect and cooperation.
- Strong executive presence with excellent oral and written presentation skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines, under pressure and while working in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Good in leadership, developing team members by inspiring, encouraging and providing constructive criticism to help improve performance
- Able to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience and common sense
- Positively influencing key decision makers / stakeholders of a large multi-faceted enterprise organization
- Willingness and ability to travel, 50% of the time
- Good to excellent command of English
