Chicago, Illinois, United States Apply for RoleSUMMARY: The Managing Director, In House Legal Search will be responsible for proactively identifying, securing and managing client relationships that will allow the Legal practice to increase its market share in In House Legal Search and other practice areas. The successful individual will lead and build a high functioning team of In House Legal Search colleagues who will develop and sustain strong client relationships in the market.
What you’ll be doingESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop a list of targeted companies aligned to specific industry vertical(s) and market the LHH Recruitment Solutions value proposition and services.
· Develop/identity in house legal search opportunities.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
· Manage multiple search assignments, delivering quality service in a timely manner.
· Establish client requirements and competencies required in each assignment.
· Interview candidates and maintain ongoing communication and follow up.
· Maintain an external sales focus to increase the LHH Legal brand
· Negotiate contracts and manage client and candidate expectations to highest standards.
· Manage all in house legal search projects, to include allocating resources, managing projects to time, budget and quality standards, and coaching team members to ensure success.
· Hire, ramp and grow a team of direct reports.
· Performance manage a team of direct reports, to include new hire training, performance improvement plans, development planning, and if necessary, discipline and terminations.
· Own and run a profit and loss statement.
· Work collaboratively with other colleagues across the Legal practice and the company.
About youEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Undergraduate degree; Law degree, MBA or related post-graduate degree an asset.
· 10-15 years of Legal professional recruitment or equivalent business/consulting experience; executive search experience at a Partner level is preferred.

The anticipated salary for this position is $50,000 unless outlined below. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
Anticipated Salary:
California – $68,640
Colorado – $56,485
New York City, Long Island, and Westchester Counties - $64,350
New York- All Other Locations - $60,405.80
Washington - $77,968.80
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
