Career Consultant (Southern CA, AZ, CO)
Apply for Role- Assists candidates across broad spectrum of career transition needs to include managing change, assessing skills and interests, defining career goals, identifying career options, guiding resume and LinkedIn profile development, interviewing, negotiating, and new job assimilation
- Supports candidates in moving forward with change, building confidence, assessing skills and interests and building a “best fit” careermarketing plan consistent with the candidate’s experience, interests, and job marketdemand
- Takes a proactive approach to engaging, motivating and guiding candidates in the utilization of LHH resources and technology tools
- Demonstrates and shares expertisein current job-related technology including LinkedIn, AI, ChatGPT, ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), Company and Business Researchdatabases
- Takes an active role helping candidate toconnect to jobs*utilizing LHH tools and resources to include referrals to LHH Recruitment Solutions, the LHH Talent Finder and the CRN Job Site (suggest that country requirements related to securing a new position be inserted)
- Helps candidates to identify career optionsand access related market resources across the LHH Roadmap (seeking a similar job, making a career shift, starting a business, active retirement
- Provides coaching expertise to help individuals during interviews and salary negotiations to confidently navigate the job search process and secure appropriate job opportunities.
- Manages time and priorities related to individual program deliverables and requirements, candidate activity reporting, participating in customer projects (sometimes on-site), and engage in LHH training and eventswhen applicable.
- Preferred 8-10 years professional experience in Career Consulting or related fields such as human resources, recruitment, career/leadership development, training, service/delivery operations, management consulting, or business leadership.
- Business/industry experience across diverse industries and populationsin one of the following: high tech, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, professional services, marketing, hospitality.
- Strong job market expertiseto assist individuals in assessing and identifying where their skills and experience may be a potential fit across various industries and/or job functions.
- Knowledgeable of Talent Acquisition strategies used by recruiters and hiring managers to include ATS systems, applicant sourcing, video screening, salary inquiries, types of interviews, and how to work with recruiters and what to expect.
- Experience in virtual delivery platforms to facilitate 1:1 coaching sessions and small group sessions for networking, training, or getting started in their service.
- Agility in utilizing a variety of technology tools and resources including Zoom, Teams, CRM systems, on-line portals, and full suite of Microsoft office tools.
- Strong service orientation with a passion for making a difference for individuals and a curiosity to learn about unique career/industry experience to assist in identifyingviable options.
- Able to prioritize and balance within multi-faceted roles requiring coaching and empathy combined with strong technology and analytical skills.

- $37.50 per hour for Career Transition Consulting
- $25 per hour for required LHH training and events (meetings, webinars, etc.)
