Senior Director, Financial Operations
Hungary Apply for RoleThe Senior Director, Financial Operations is responsible for leading a team accountable for performing invoicing and reconciliation activities. Oversees the monitoring of system approvals, delivery of invoicing files to client accounts payable systems, and account reconciliation activities.
Ensures adherence to identified Service Level Agreements (SLAs), best practices, and standard operating procedures. Leads global new client implementations as related to invoicing and settlement and oversees various audits.
What you’ll be doing- Directs global financial operations activities, ensuring alignment with identified goals and objectives.
- Authorizes changes to procedures, operating systems and other financial control functions used to manage deliverables.
- Establishes career development plans, training for direct reports and mentors and coaches in-line with human resources principles.
- Conducts timely annual and interim performance evaluations and sets individual and team objectives to cultivate a culture of high performance and teamwork.
- Ensures team maintains appropriate skills and competencies required to conduct operations timely, effectively and in compliance.
- Identifies and implements process improvements relatedto financialoperations and other areas related to or impacting finance.
- Directs outsourced functions as appropriate.
- Manages invoicing process globally and related procedures to ensure accurate and timely delivery of invoices to client accounts payable systems.
- Collaborates with Shared Services to monitor the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet contractual SLAs.
- Directs the development and implementation of new client invoicing and payment processes.
- Reviews andprovides inputto RFP,MSA, andother contractual elements relatedto financial operations, risk, and audit.
- Responsible for Internal (ICOFR) audit documentation and control updates.
- Directs internal audit response and fulfillment of documentation requests.
- Provides expertise and analysis of business processes.
- Directs various in-house audits.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field with a minimum of eight (8) years of related finance and accounting experience required.
Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory/management experience required.
Previous experience ina global organization and within a corporate environment for a provider of Managed Service Programs (MSP), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Vendor Management Systems(VMS) is highly desirable.

- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate high-level customer service.
- Ability to effectively and simultaneously direct teams with multiple projects/tasks/problems that vary in nature and scope.
- Ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches and overall team contributions.
- Ability to demonstrate expertise in leadership, including mentoring, coaching, training and supervising employees.
- Ability to identify trends and evaluate and predict their impact on the organization.
- Ability to effectively influence and persuade others at various levels within the organization.
- Knowledge of and the ability to develop, maintain and manage to system monitoring, accounting and standard operating procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
