About the role

The Financial Controller is part of the Controlling team and plays an active role in financial planning and analysis for the Swiss business. They work in close collaboration with the business and other central functions and provide reports to the CFO and leadership team. The role is based at the Adecco Group’s Swiss headquarters in Lausanne and reports to the Team Leader Financial Controlling.

What you’ll be doing
  • Bonus process ownership for Switzerland
    • Prepare bonus accruals
    • Calculate quarterly and yearly payouts
    • Estimate bonus amounts for budget and forecast
    • Act as the main point of contact for bonus-related questions (e.g., explanation to the business, projections)
    • Proactively suggest process improvements to increase efficiency
    • Estimate the impact of changes in bonus plans and make relevant recommendations
    • Actively participate in the design of bonus plans and model financial impact
  • FTE monitoring
    • Take the lead in managing FTE tracking in Switzerland
    • Collaborate closely with HR to ensure data accuracy and improve process efficiency
    • Prepare monthly reports on overall FTE outlook (actuals, forecast, vacant positions) and present to leadership
  • Cost accounting
    • Fixed assets: Build depreciation for forecast and budget
    • Rents: Establish allocation keys for budget and actuals in collaboration with Procurement & Real Estate
    • IT Controlling: Act as Business Partner with IT leadership, review actuals and prepare forecast and budget
  • Master Data Management
    • Take ownership of the cost center structure and serve as the main point of contact for all related matters (creation, modification, deactivation)
    • Improve process efficiency around cost centers
  • Projects
    • Bring expertise to Controlling initiatives and transformation projects
About you
  • 3+ years of Finance/Controlling work experience
  • University degree in business administration or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced MS Excel and BI skills are essential
  • Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic / deadline driven environment
  • Solution-oriented, proactive and self-motivated, interest to learn and grow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French or German (fluency in all 3 languages is a big plus)
