The primary mission of the Sales Excellence team is steer cross-GBU initiatives related to Sales and Delivery, with a focus on Front Office or Sales Operations related processes.
The Sales Excellence & Innovation Manager provides sales leaders and reps with resources to drive growth and success. Partnering with the global sales teams GBU Sales Operation team, the Sales Excellence & Innovation Manager will develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions for driving sales growth and efficiency.
What you’ll be doingThrough a deep immersion in the day-to-day of revenue teams, the main responsibility of the Sales Excellence & Innovation Manager is to build support and momentum to drive growth mindset and results on the frontline. He/She will tactically execute and drive deliverables, ensuring that sales efforts deliver on targets set and beyond.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project Management: Support or co-lead cross-GBU (Global Business Unit) projects related to Salesforce technology (e.g., Data Cloud, AI agents) and other group-wide initiatives such as the Global Delivery Dashboard or Client Master Data.
- Help drive AI & Digital Innovation: Act as a central point of contact for AI-related initiatives within the Sales domain by capturing and maintaining visibility of ongoing projects across the organization. Proactively identify and help steer use cases with cross-functional or company-wide relevance, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities. Create regular visibility on group-relevant developments, updates, and best practices to foster transparency, collaboration, and scalable innovation.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Collaboration: Facilitate alignment of business needs across GBUs, geographies, and global teams to create a high-level cohesive direction, for Sales and Delivery. Use structured methodologies (e.g., OKRs, RACI) to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable plans and track impact on revenue growth (e.g., YoY sales uplift %, pipeline conversion rate).
- Evaluation of metrics and impact: design, implement metrics and KPIs to pro-actively follow and anticipate targets achievement and decide corrective measures if needed.
This role has a key responsibility in driving results, pipeline reviews, and Salesforce Data Quality.
About you- 2-5 years working experience in an Innovation/enabling function with strong focus on sales results and IT team/technology solutions provider.
- Proficient/Certified Salesforce CRM expertise. Expertise in other sales & marketing digital tools a plus.
- Demonstrated business, professional and sales/customer acumen, with the ability to develop credibility quickly with stakeholders.
- Proven experience in sales reporting and data analysis, with the ability to assess and measure the success of business solutions.
- Strong collaboration and teaming skills are required.
- Highly motivated and innovative with the right amount of energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to relate and interact with both Senior Management as well as Sales professionals.
- Ability to influence without direct authority for people and resources at multiple organization levels and across geographic and organizational boundaries.
- Strong ability to deliver results and execute independently with minimal direction.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or requisite work experience with a minimum of ten (10) years of sales operations, sales training, and/or sales leadership experience, along with a thorough understanding of sales and strategic account management best practices and Sales Tools such as Salesforce.com.
- Commercial Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related subjects.
