The Business Analytics and Reporting Lead holds primary responsibility for managing the daily operations of the teams within the Customer Solutions and Advisory function, while also developing and ensuring long-term strategic initiatives for the function are fulfilled. This position necessitates an exceptional blend of tactical implementation and strategic foresight to ensure the function's effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability.
The Business Analytics and Reporting Lead works closely with the Customer Solutions and Advisory Senior Leadership Team (SLT) lead to deliver both operational and strategic direction. This is primarily directed towards the Business Analytics and Reporting Team, with support extended across the CSA function as needed.
- Oversees daily operations to ensure operational efficiency, maintain high-quality standards, and achieve cost-effective management of resources.
- Implements and monitors operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and performance.
- Manages and mentors departmental managers and colleagues, fostering a collaborative and highperformance culture.
- Ensures adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices to maintain compliance and excellence.
- Develops and executes comprehensive strategic plans that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
- Conducts in-depth market analysis, competitive research, and stakeholder consultations to guide strategic decision-making.
- Identifies and evaluates new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth areas.
- Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and adjusts plans as necessary.
- Prepares and manages budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Optimizes financial performance by identifying cost-saving opportunities and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Collaborates with the finance team to ensure accurate financial planning and analysis.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
- Represents the organization at industry-related events, conferences, and meetings.
- Communicates the organization's vision and strategies to internal and external audiences.
- Manages a team to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of key projects and initiatives.
- Ensures the team delivers projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Guides the team in proactively identifying and mitigating project risks and challenges.
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and process optimization.
- Implements and utilizes performance metrics to drive accountability and measure success.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends and best practices to maintain the organization’s competitive edge.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior operational and strategic leadership role.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong understanding of business operations, strategic planning, and financial management.
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
