We are currently looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in the position of Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Team Lead.
As PTP Team Lead you are accountable for the delivery of the accounting and reporting services and its personnel. Your job duties include managing the financial accounting and reporting process. Moreover, you will be responsible to provide overall direction and guidance to the accounting & reporting team towards operational goals and lead the innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the service delivery / cost optimization of the services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Take ownership and lead a team of P2P professionals, ensure the team understands business requirements, answer questions and resolve issues with staff, other departments, and suppliers.
· Build strong relationship with local team and broader Adecco organization to support and coordinate the business.
· Analyze and Identify trends to ensure accurate and on-time handling of incoming invoice volumes and analysis to oversee trends or issues which enable reaching target KPI’s.
· Assist in developing and presenting policies, procedures, and training programs to all levels of staff
· Verify completeness and accuracy of financial documents, including ensuring proper backup and necessary approvals exist prior posting.
· Identify and perform root cause
· Support period end process, regular and ad-hoc reporting.
· Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.
· Build-up and update SOP/WI on a regular basis to reflect actual process.
· Review and approve regular and urgent payment runs, investigate and correct payment rejections and support the Treasury function.
· Prepare and provide training to users of MSD and all other workflow applications related to areas of responsibility.
· Reconciles accounts payable total to the general ledger along with other applicable records
Key skills, qualifications and experience:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
· Fluent English (spoken and written)
· 5+ years of experience in accounting, procure-to-pay.
· 1+ experience in people management
· Shared Service Centre experience
· Expert level of MS Office
· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, HFM would be considered strong advantage
