About the role

SUMMARY:

Documents report, dashboard, and data requirements, including, but not limited to, data flows, end-to-end processes, use cases and dashboard wireframes. Produces functional and non-functional business and technical requirement documentation to be used in the design, development, and testing processes. Provides technical consultation and recommends improvements, modifications, and offers new solutions to business stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs analyses of the business goals, objectives, and needs of the general business environment for the appropriate company segment, division, group, or line of business
  • Create business and technical requirements and produces detailed functional analysis documents understandable by business and technical teams.
  • Create wireframes for dashboard design
  • Troubleshoots data/report discrepancies. Participates in gap analysis.
  • Performs data validation and data testing.
  • Facilitates the understanding of business and functional requirements to development teams to ensure proper implementation.
  • Guarantees all work is compliant with company identified guidelines and policies, internal and external audit requirements, and any related financial and legislative requirements.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Assists management to resolve business issues in an effective and productive manner
  • Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues in the most effective and productive manner
  • Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices
  • Able to review and make data-supported conclusions regarding the performance and opportunities of the business through strategic and tactical thinking
About you

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in the staffing solutions industry is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field with a minimum of eight(8) years of related technical business analyst experience; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
  • Previous Agile project management experience desired
  • Experience with Tableau, SQL, MicroStrategy, Power BI or other data processing software is desired
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Experience in business intelligence/data warehousing/data science is desirable.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $86,599 and $117,392. Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. This position includes an incentive program that may include bonus and/or commission.   

Benefit offerings for full-time employment may include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans and reimbursement and retirement programs.  Available paid leave may include paid time off, parental leave and holiday pay.
