Mission

The Global HR Business Partner supports four global corporate functions (COSCO, Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing) as well as Global Practice Leads (GPLs). This role report so the Global HR Business Partner, overall responsible for HR partnering with these Global Functions.


The main responsibilities focus on:
  • All parts of the employee life cycle, including compensation, promotion, separation, hiring, development etc.
  • Management and coordination of the compensation, performance and talent review processes
  • Consulting on organizational design and various management issues
  • Assistance with employee communication initiatives within client groups
  • Partner with specialist groups to ensure coordination of HR strategies and processes across the organization, providing relevant data and recommendations to guide decision-making related to business transformation, compensation, organizational structures, retention, promotions and other actives

Detailed description of responsibilities

Core HR processes delivery

  • Delivers on Global HR processes, such as annual compensation review, talent acquisition, annual talent review, performance management, workforce planning, with a strong focus on talent retention, professional development and succession planning.
  • Partners with Corporate COEs to provide a consultancy service in the area of HR policies for the functional leadership team and managers to conduct and coordinate strategic HR projects.
People and workforce strategy
  • Co-define required organizational and individual capabilities to drive the achievement of the Global Adecco Group strategy.
  • Contribute to design and execute people strategy, often through respective geography and global brand HR colleagues.
Culture development and change management
  • Support the development (and understanding) of culture of the global corporate functions, in line with overall business goals, and challenges.
  • Support and co-develop culture change programs to become a high-performing organization with a strong functional leadership pipeline.
  • Foster good employee relations and promote employee engagement to retain highly valued talent. Drive action plans for the global function that deliver an engaged high-performance workplace as a result of employee surveys (Peakon and GPTW).
Leadership Development
  • Diagnose leadership and cultural gaps and liaise with relevant COE colleagues to co-design leadership training programs to address development needs and create short and long-term plans for leadership development to ensure alignment with organizational transformation, strategic objectives and values.
  • Participate in implementing training and development programs including Functional talent and succession planning processes.
Coach and partner to Global Leader(s)
  • Enable and be a constructive challenger to the leaders and managers in order to drive the overall people strategy, by designing and swiftly implementing people-oriented and organizational solutions in areas related to full employee life cycle
  • Provides a consultancy service that delivers best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the business in line with specialist HR functions.
  • Consults and influences management on key organizational transformation and management concerns.
  • Provides consulting and support on ad hoc basis on team management, such as: team formation, team conflict resolution, onboarding.
Support implementation of global projects.
  • Including Leadership architecture and Leadership development programmes, New world of work, RXO, next generation of HRIT, etc

Experience & Education

  • Experience as a HR generalist or in an expert role in an international, preferably from a sales driven organization with a global matrix organization
  • Experience in an organization going through a transformation/ significant change, with centralized functions and shared services operating model is a plus
  • Experience with L&D, Talent Development, Compensation and Mobility or Talent acquisition is an advantage
  • Proven success track record in collaborative cultures
  • University Degree. Post-graduate Human Resources studies or Master in Human Resources Management is an asset

Technical skills and knowledge

  • Project Management skills
  • Change management skills
  • Experience with Organizational Design is an asset
  • Experience with Workforce Planning is an asset
  • Advisory and coaching on People Management topics
  • Understanding of the HR industry and key drivers
  • Ability to translate strategy it into own actions. Ability to explain the strategy to others and help them to understand implications for their area of responsibility.
