This role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping others and creating positive first impressions. As a Candidate Experience Consultant, you’ll support prospective ADF members with confidence, care and clarity, playing a vital part in building trust, engagement and momentum throughout their recruitment journey.

We have both full time and part time roles available. Candidates applying for part-time positions must be available to work Saturdays

Job Description

Reporting to the Candidate Experience Team Leader, this role offers the opportunity to support and engage with all prospects and candidates throughout their journey to join the Australian Defence Force.

As a Candidate Experience Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding experience for candidates as they move through the application process. Acting as a key point of contact, you will communicate with candidates across multiple channels, providing clear, accurate and supportive information at every stage.

You will guide candidates through their application, assist with completion, and respond to questions in a timely and professional manner. A strong attention to detail is essential, ensuring all information provided is correct and consistent with policy and process. Above all, you will maintain an excellent standard of service, ensuring each candidate feels informed, supported and valued throughout their journey.

You will: 

  • Deliver an exceptional end-to-end experience, ensuring candidates feel supported throughout the application process
  • Contribute to a candidate-first, high-performance culture
  • Communicate clearly and professionally across multiple communication channels
  • Provide accurate advice and guidance on application requirements and next steps
  • Navigate multiple systems while actively listening and maintaining thorough, accurate records
  • Maintain detailed and compliant records of candidate interactions and outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues
  • Achieve established KPIs while maintaining high quality standards
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
  • Promote a culture of honesty, openness and collaboration
  • Build and maintain strong service relationships that meet or exceed the expectations of Defence and the DFR Adecco contract

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be an Australian citizen
  • Be able to obtain and maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance
