About the role

We are seeking a Director ITD Finance to drive our financial strategy and enhance financial intelligence on the IT & Digital spend of The Adecco Group, in close collaboration with local and central ITD controlling teams. This position requires a balance of strong technical financial skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to drive projects with local and central teams to further improve our ITD controlling and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving financial performance, project management, stakeholder engagement, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is part of the Group ITD Finance team that is responsible for the financial planning and analysis of ITD spending of The Adecco Group and will report to the VP Finance ITD.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partner with markets and business units internationally to devise and steer strategic financial planning and forecasting.
  • Coordinate, manage and oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes of ITD across all markets and business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with markets and business units internationally to provide strategic financial guidance, ensuring a cohesive approach to financial planning and forecasting.
  • Challenge and rethink existing frameworks, actively propose innovative strategies to drive cost transparency and operational efficiency.
  • Design, analyze and implement finance related projects/initiatives with local and central teams as well as ITD key contacts to further improve our ITD controlling and reporting processes.
  • Analyze global actual ITD spending (Capex and Opex) by leveraging consolidated ITD cost data from the Group’s reporting tools.
  • Utilize technical skills to undertake comprehensive financial analyses and craft insightful reports to aid business decisions.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights and guidance.
  • Lead global initiatives focused on cost savings, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, including CDIO-1 Global Functional IT Leaders, supporting their financial processes for Actuals, Forecast, and Budget.
  • Anticipate and address unspoken stakeholder needs, offering proactive solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to optimize operations and improve financial processes.
  • Ensure robust design of internal controls over the financial controlling and reporting processes and timely preparation/review of assigned internal controls.
  • Prepare Slides showing the key drivers for variance analysis of key P&L lines and KPIs and contribute to EC and BoD Memos.

About you
  • 10+ years of finance experience in large multinational organizations, with strong experience in Accounting and Controlling processes.
  • Practical knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS and FP&A/controlling processes.
  • Experience driving process improvements and financial transformations.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with the ability to influence cross-functional collaboration.
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; additional qualifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and understanding of Power BI; excellent PowerPoint skills for creating compelling presentations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide actionable business insights.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with international partners.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for global engagements.
