Application Development Manager (Multiple Positions)

Work on a Balanced Team and collaborate with a Product Owner, Product Manager, and Product Designer to deliver projects and features to support future Mobility programs. Participate as a member of an agile team leveraging continuous deployment and test automation in order to deploy application changes to production. Design and develop RESTful Services and Web Applications. Develop microservice architecture and 12-Factor design patterns. Provide technical leadership, initiative and discretion to provide solutions to new application designs. Participate actively in mob and paired programming. Participate as a member of an agile team leveraging continuous deployment and test automation in order to deploy application changes to production. Work in a highly collaborative environment with a balanced product team of developers to deliver projects/features. Perform object-oriented (Java/.Net/etc.) development, Java specifically. Work closely with Mobility partners to understand product vision, technology gaps and break it down into work-stream deliverables. Reports to company headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. Roving employee – will work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to travel anywhere in the U.S. and may be assigned to work at client sites across the U.S. The position does not require relocation to the company HQ in Auburn Hills, MI; however, the candidate must be willing to work at various unknown client sites throughout the U.S. for up to 100 % of the time.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and two (2) years of experience, the employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT/IS, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. . Must have demonstrated experience with: RESTful Services and Web Applications; object-oriented development (Java or .Net); developing backend spring boot micro-services with open-shift; developing a web dashboard in Angular 7, HTML5 and SCSS; using continuous deployment and test automation in order to deploy application changes to production; building reusable components and front-end libraries; following Agile, Extreme Programming, pair programming, TDD all in a Continuous Integration environment; and building and maintaining database systems, and ensuring data security using SQL and NoSql.
