Financial Analyst
Poland Apply for RoleThe Financial Analyst performs the necessary tasks for the completion of internal & corporate level financial reporting, while working closely with various members of the Finance organization, under general supervision.
What you’ll be doing- Owns process of providing / submitting Pontoon NA financials into Adecco’s reporting tool, GRP.
- Extensively work with and maintain Pontoon’s database of financial information.
- Runs, prepares and analyzes various financials on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or ad hoc basis.
- Collaborate closely with Adecco NA and Group FP&A on GRP reporting instructions & best practices.
- Collects and prepares monthly financial files accordingly for proper organization and consistent review.
- Works with Process Improvement Manager to ensure Internal system of reporting is accurately aligned with corporate level reporting.
- Assists with providing fiscal and organizational advice regarding projected programs, services and objectives according to established budgetary procedures.
- Provides assistance in the formulation of departmental budget requests, including necessary documentation, investigation, and related budget impact studies.
- Compiles budgetary and fiscal data and prepares revenue balance statements and historical comparisons of expenditures.
- Prepares financial analyses of current trends and variances to forecasts and budgets.
- Analyzes, calculates and reports on the expected profitability/return on sales for existing and potential customers.
- Participates in process performance assessments and assists with developing recommendations to address areas in need of enhancement.
- Stays abreast of leading economic, business and industry trends, analyzes operational impact and produces summarizing reports for management.
- Assists with and supports the administration of the division’s annual operating budget(s), including performing forecasting and financial analysis for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Ability to effectively and accurately gather, interpret, report, and use data and other information in conducting responsibilities.
- Ability to identify existing and new trends as well as evaluate and predict their impact on the organization.
- Knowledge of and the ability to understand and apply General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles and practices.
- Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of accounting, budgeting, and cost control procedures, as well as the ability to prepare and monitor budget information.
- Knowledge of and the ability to utilize automated financial systems and tools, such as Power BI and Oracle Financials.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
