About the role

Mission:

  • The Global ITD BackOffice Strategy & Transformation lead is part of the BackOffice ITD Leadership team and is in charge of all enabling processes within that organization.
  • Will drive the design, definition and communication of a common Vision and Strategy for the BackOffice Functions.
  • Will implement & manage the required processes, frameworks & tools to support Portfolio, Program, Vendors, Performance and Change management within ITD BackOffice.
  • Will drive a culture of delivery and operational excellence and strive for efficiency, effectiveness & transparent communication across ITD BackOffice and the Group.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure a common Vision, Mission and an integrated, convergent and consistent ITD Strategy is defined and regularly updated to support the Business Strategy of the BackOffice Functions.
  • Ensure the ITD BackOffice Strategy execution, consistent to strategic principles and goals.
  • Define KPIs and metrics to measure performance against strategic goals & monitor adherence during execution.
  • Oversight ITD budget & forecast against financial targets for Run and Change & the initiatives to drive efficiency, optimization and rationalization together with Finance.
  • Apply ITD governance processes to the BackOffice ITD Function & ensure they are respected.
  • Ensure the required capabilities, resources, frameworks, processes, KPI’s, controls, tools are in place to enable operational excellence, delivery excellence, and respect of compliance, Risk & Security.
  • Determine strategies to effectively accompany the organization along the transformation in ITD & people adopting the change, incl local ITD teams in the markets.
  • Drive a mindset of effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring a continuous improvement approach with internal governance and processes.
  • Ensure communication to internal and external Stakeholders, engagement of ITD employees within the BackOffice ITD Function, successful Stakeholders management with internal clients and external partners
What you’ll be doing
  • Ensure Vision, setting long-term goals, determining strategic priorities for the BackOffice ITD Function.
  • Ensure respect of the principles and strategic direction within ITD and ITD business stakeholders.
  • Stay in-tune with market trends & identify opportunities to drive growth & innovation.
  • Ensure respect of the governance structures to ensure ITD investments are aligned with business goals.
  • Monitor the financial performances of BackOffice ITD change & run, in collaboration with Finance.
  • Work with the respective ITD Lead owners to ensure continuous management of run costs and with Finance to address the mission on increase budget transparency.
  • Manage selection & prioritization of BackOffice initiatives, in line with the strategic objectives.
  • Maintain the BackOffice portfolio and monitor its implementation.
  • Work with the ITD BackOffice, Business stakeholders and geographies to create and maintain a ITD Change Roadmap.
  • Enforce establishment of success measures by Program in scope.
  • Provide regular updates on the Portfolio performance and conduct quarterly reviews with the BackOffice Function leadership (Finance, HR, Legal, Communications).
  • Ensure respect of the Project management framework for ITD Initiatives, including AI, in collaboration with the integrated processes (Finance, Architecture, Procurement, Responsible AI, Security, Legal).
  • Ensure respect of the project governance and decision-making processes for ITD Initiatives, including AI.
  • Support implementation and sharing of Project management best practices and learning journeys (e.g. certifications).
  • Identify and implement remediation measures to address mis-performance.
  • Contribute to work with the Strategic Vendors, ensuring convergence and contributing to performance management and strategic opportunities assessment.
  • Ensure respect of the Strategic Vendor management framework.
  • Review operational performance of Vendors together with the BackOffice ITD Leadership and ensure remediation actions are implemented when appropriate.
  • Monitor BackOffice performance indicators to measure the progress on the execution of the ITD Strategy and implement remediation actions when relevant.
  • Ensure appropriate capabilities are in place in BackOffice and the Archetypes are implemented to deliver on the ITD objectives – address any gaps.
  • Consolidate operational, delivery, financial, people, Security & innovation performance metrics & develop & maintain a Performance scorecard for the ITD BackOffice Function.
  • Support the organization along the transformation in ITD & people adopting the change, incl local ITD teams in the markets.
  • Communicate the ITD BackOffice Vision & Strategy to the organization.
  • Engage with business leaders to ensure continuous alignment between business needs and the ITD strategy.
About you
  • At least 7 cumulative years of experience within Governance, Performance, Business services, Change management and Business & IT transformation.
  • Master best practices in Performance & Change management.
  • Experience as Business leader and able to grasp business priorities and strategies.
  • Experience as advisor for leaders and executives and/or as a team leader for specialists.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization, including executive management.
  • Proven capability of managing multiple priorities effectively and performing under tight deadlines.
  • Experience successfully working with distributed teams.

Education:

  • Preferably Master’s degree with focus on Engineering, Business Management and or IT
