Mission

The CoE Paid Channels Lead will be responsible for the overall paid digital marketing acquisition strategy across The Adecco Group, with a special focus on Programmatic candidate sourcing, Paid Search and Paid Social optimization, and developing the optimal paid media channel mixes for the Adecco markets and brands they support.

The Paid Channels Lead will support the marketing community by providing insights into the most adequate Paid Channel strategies, AdTech, and processes connected to execution of digital candidate & client acquisition campaigns. They will strive to identify the best balance between paid and organic channels, continuously looking to optimize paid marketing ROI

Tasks
  • Act as the subject expert Paid Channels best practice and work to upskill and coach marketing colleagues.
  • Define and roll-out the global Paid Channels strategy across marketing teams in partnership IT and Product teams.
  • Key marketing owner and expert on marketing Paid Channels (Programmatic Recruitment, Paid Search, Paid Social, and Display) across The Adecco Group.
  • Support the markets and SSC in the creation of strategic, cross-channel ad campaigns to achieve ongoing business goals of growing leads, applicants and revenue.
  • Collaborate with in-house brand teams on B2B and B2C paid digital promotions, including the promotion of white papers, guides, and videos. Provide expert suggestions and recommendations for promotion and budgets for Google and Facebook Ads, as well as with guidance on viability of other advertising platforms.
  • Support the global Candidate Sourcing team as the key Marketing point of contact in the planning, definition and strategic approach to the implementation of new Paid Channels and associated product initiatives.
  • Working alongside the Analytics & CRO Lead and the Marketing Automation Lead, you will collaboratively endeavor to build consistent E2E candidate and client journeys across The Adecco Group’s digital marketing estate.
  • Ensure optimum set-up processes and practices are in place on paid channel platforms and AdTech to enable Marketing Teams to demonstrate and report on the contribution/ROI of their campaigns.
  • Support local teams in optimizing and maximizing results for multiple ongoing campaigns, including analyzing historical data and assessing budget distributions and tactical decisions.
  • Work in conjunction with UX, design, content, and digital producer teams to create optimized campaigns and landing pages that are on-brand and generate conversions across business units. 
  • Engage with external consultancies and specialists as needed to help accelerate candidate/client acquisition and support the delivery of the Paid Channels strategy.
  • Work with Global IT and other stakeholders to define the AdTech ecosystem that will best support the delivery of the global Paid Channels strategy, while ensuring we are contributing to and leveraging the benefits of our internal data platforms.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or related field, or equivalent required.
Type of work experience
  • +5 years of experience in senior performance marketing roles in complex global multi-brand organizations.
  • Previous responsibilities managing global paid channels strategies, global approach, deployment and working with different countries and stakeholders is must
  • Strong experience developing performance marketing strategies in B2B and B2C with differentiated understanding of KPIs and engagement tactics for each segment.
  • Proficient in PPC environments and strategies: ad auctions, inventories, automated and real-time bidding strategies, audience targeting and an ability to create (and/or brief) engaging ad copy & creatives.
  • Familiarity with Programmatic Recruitment tools and strategies (job ad targeting, dynamic budget allocation and bidding, campaign optimization and big data analytics) will be beneficial.
  • Deep understanding while continuously developing best-practice knowledge of key non-HR paid acquisition channels: Paid Search (Google Ads, Bing), Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and Display (programmatic & GDN).
  • Deep expertise in implementation, and use of, AdTech – must have understanding of multi-channel attribution, and guide markets on implementation of tools such as online advertising platforms, Ad Servers, DMP, DSP, etc.
  • Highly numerical, with ability to monitor, measure and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics which can vary by channel.
  • Demonstrable experience working across all aspects of digital strategy, campaigns, automation and marketing operations in a growing organization.
  • Have a passion for Growth, and what performance marketing can achieve for businesses. You will combine this with solid knowledge of data driven marketing, continuous optimization, A/B testing and results analysis.
  • Prior supervision or scheduling experience desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, challenges and meet tight deadlines required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally. Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
  • Keep up to date of the newest trends, innovations, and technologies in the online advertising and performance marketing industries.
