Pontoon is hiring a Lead Sourcer with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience, while identifying and attracting top tier candidates. The successful candidate will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to comprehend the cultural, diversity, skills and business needs of the clients as it relates to their candidate cultivation. What you’ll be doing- Creating, updating, improving, and overseeing adherence to standard operating procedures and best practices and ensuring compliance, process and quality consistency
- Evaluating current initiatives, strategies, pipelines, tools, technologies, job boards, etc. and developing best practices in sourcing; assisting with developing and implementing solutions for optimization.
- Serving as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and escalates to management as necessary.
- Overseeing the development of or develops role specific and comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet program requirements; developing job-related marketing content
- Overseeing and/or conducting complex data mining, targeted searches, and outreach to various resources to source potential candidates, including cold-calling.
- Overseeing and/or performing the compilation, formatting and preparation of sourcing metrics and assists with creating information presentations for internal operational and/or client business reviews.
- Overseeing and/or performing the entry and tracking of candidate data in various electronic systems and runs standard reports as needed.
- Conducting market and competitor evaluations and reports results.
- Fielding complex inquiries from candidates and hiring managers; escalates inquiries to senior team members and/or management as necessary.
- Supervising employees and assisting with making personal and professional development decisions.
- Identifying performance goals, analysing performance metrics and assessing team member performance; coaching team members and sharing feedback for development with management.
- Providing a consultative approach for internal and client stakeholders regarding sourcing strategy and overall talent attraction.
We want to set you up for success! To help us do that, here is what we are looking for from you:
- Completion of post-secondary education in related field or years of equivalent demonstrating progressive responsibility.
- Minimum three (3) years of sourcing or research experience; or equivalent combination of post high school education and experience.
- Previous leadership experience is an asset.
- Previous experience utilizing a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) and/or Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is ideal
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Proficiency in utilization of marketing, social media and other online tools and/or platforms.
- Able to maintain a basic comprehension of and compliance with related federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply the principles, best practices, and standards of talent sourcing, such as creating and utilizing Boolean Search Strings.
- Expert proficiency with electronic sourcing resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
