The main objective within this position is to take on a business partner role in support of one or more field divisions or HQ departments, using the analysis of operational and financial results to work from Business Intelligence on improvement processes and optimization of the business.
In addition, and in support of the other departments, you will also be responsible for the support and execution of the financial (work) processes of the Planning & Control cycle, within the assigned work area aimed at the timely delivery of figures relating to developments in the result.
What you’ll be doingContribute to and provide support for internal projects, for both the office network and HQ departments, through financial expertise and knowledge, aimed at achieving the most effective use of available financial resources. The focus will be on:
- Support of the national sales team:
- Monthly reporting: analyzing periodic data and sharing insights with account managers
- Evaluation processes / optimization with the aim of increasing sales effectiveness (eg. sales review)
- Support in the annual target and budget process
- Support of the Marketing department: NPS, set up of sales campaigns, business plan process
- In addition, other specialties such as geo/market intelligence, the pricing and any ad hoc projects
- Providing operational financial support and giving operational advice to the field as part of the forecast and budget processes, for various ad hoc reports and for business cases.
- Ensuring uniformity in the recording of data and making proposals for its improvement.
- Preparing and analyzing the periodic financial reports for the benefit of the Finance & Control cycle in a timely manner and in accordance with regulations. Core activities: Prepare weekly and monthly reports. Taking care of other specifications such as FTE. Taking care of the weekly for International.
Bachelor's degree in business economics/business administration.
You have a great passion for working with figures and you have great analytical skills.
You are curious and ambitious, eager to learn. You are not satisfied until you can see the whole picture and the pieces of the puzzle fall into place.
Bilingual (Dutch, French) orally and in writing. English is a +
