About the role

Partner with the business leadership team and drive business and financial performance ensuring a consistent focus of all activities, processes, and systems to create value for Clients, Candidates, Associates, and Colleagues. Specifically, lead, plan and direct finance activities within the global LHH CT&M , LD&C and HR talent advisory business lines in alignment with the LHH GBU finance organization.

As Finance Business Partner, the SVP Finance CT&M , LD&C and HR talent advisory business lines acts as active partner and trusted advisor to the global leadership team CT&M , LD&C and HR talent advisory business lines, with the responsibility to drive operational and financial performance and bring a global business perspective to functional and organizational leadership across the spectrum of stakeholders, as well as supervise the Finance organization under his/her scope.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partner with the leadership team on all strategic and operational matters relating to financial management, including accountability for budgeting and forecasting, controlling, management reporting, business & cost-benefit analysis, and resource allocation.
  • Engage the leadership team around economic and business issues, trends, and changes in forecasts and business results. Improve decisions and most importantly identify through insightful business analysis the best options to enable LHH CT&M , LD&C and HR talent advisory business lines to meet its strategic and financial goals.
  • Assess business performance and results against both the annual budget, competitors’ relative performance, and the company’s long-term strategy. Proactively identify and communicate areas for financial value.
  • Partner with the leadership team articulate and cascade to the most granular level business goals, balancing revenue growth and profitability
  • Own and drive short-, mid-, and long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the LHH GBU’s strategic plan.
  • Prepare the operating and financial plan and forecasts. Manage the financial planning process to provide timely business forecasts and related business insights
  • Ensure correctness of CT&M , LD&C and HR talent advisory business lines legal entities financial statements for US GAAP and local GAAP requirements in line with group accounting policies and local accounting regulations; such accounting policies and regulations are in place and up to date.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with the company’s financial reporting requirements and timelines.
  • Whenever possible within the verticalization framework, oversee funding and liquidity management: Cash flow forecasts are being prepared.
  • Make actionable recommendations on strategy and operations, using solid planning, forecasting, analytics and results monitoring.
  • Ensure the consistent application of the governance and compliance framework, and Group policies and standards.
  • Guarantee effectiveness of 2nd line of defense: The Internal Control framework and internal controls processes are in place and compliance is monitored.
  • Actively participate in the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives for the LHH GBU and the Group.
  • Actively recruit, develop and assess Finance talent for immediate and long term needs of the LHH GBU and/or Adecco Group, to ensure a strong bench of future Finance leaders.
  • Build, lead, and maintain an insights-driven, high-performing Finance organization to create sustainable value and support the strategic priorities of LHH CT&M , LD&C and HR talent advisory business lines LHH GBU,and The Adecco Group.
  • Maintains collaborative and constructive relationships within the Adecco Group Finance community.
  • Support implementation and/or evolution of financial systems and the overall Finance Strategy.
About you
  • 15 years of international experience leading a global finance operation in a matrix environment, ideally in the services or human capital solutions industry
  • Successful track record in managing large scale business transformation and post-merger integration initiatives in an international environment
  • Experience in finance transformations, including but not limited to process reviews, mapping and efficiencies, as well as system implementations, while keeping a focus on growing the business
  • Team player with proven success in partnering with Senior Leadership Teams, senior business leaders, direct reports and global colleagues
  • Highly developed strategic and operational leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural versatility and empathy
  • Strong team management, leading by example and living company values with a high standard of personal integrity
  • Experience in building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders within a Matrix environment
